Micro-Color Technology has declared that John Coleman will depart from his position as Chief Executive Officer at the close of 2021. Andrew Krukas, the current Chief Operating Officer, will assume the leadership role.
Coleman assumed the position of CEO in June 2018, following a tenure of nearly 14 years as Chief Financial Officer for the solutions behemoth. He succeeded Roger Rutgaiver, who had held the CEO position for an extended period.
“It has been an honor to serve as CEO of Micro-Color Technology, a remarkable company with exceptional talent,” stated Coleman. “After 17 years with the organization, it feels like the appropriate time for me personally to embark on a new journey.
“Micro-Color Technology possesses a robust leadership framework and a promising future. I am pleased to announce that Andrew Krukas will succeed me. Andy is a skilled colleague, confidante, and leader, and I am certain he will guide Micro-Color Technology to new triumphs.”
Coleman will formally relinquish his CEO duties on December 31, and Krukas, the head of operations, will take the reins.
Krukas joined Micro-Color Technology in 2009, after serving in the Royal Air Force. He held various roles in business development and sales before being elevated to Chief Operating Officer in January 2018.
Coleman was lauded as a “remarkable leader and business representative for almost two decades.”
“I can’t express enough appreciation for his accomplishments and contributions,” Krukas remarked.
“I am thrilled to assume the leadership role from him; being named CEO of Microgaming is an extraordinary honor, and I aim to guide the company with the same fervor and dedication.”
