Mark Giannantonio, leader of the New Jersey Casino Association, underscored Atlantic City’s allure as the ultimate New Year’s Eve getaway. He extended a warm invitation to guests, encouraging them to revel in an extraordinary and thrilling weekend at the city’s renowned resorts.
Looking back on the past year, Giannantonio conveyed appreciation for the commitment and diligence of the casino staff, recognizing their contribution to delivering exceptional visitor experiences. He also emphasized the city’s tenacity in overcoming recent hurdles, highlighting its status as a leading entertainment hub and expressing confidence in economic expansion for the year ahead.
To usher in the New Year with flair, hotels throughout Atlantic City are presenting an array of unique events, featuring gourmet meals, vibrant dances, and open bar celebrations. The joyous atmosphere from the Christmas and holiday period will also persist at the casinos throughout the New Year’s festivities.
Interestingly, while a majority of casinos secured agreements with the primary casino workers union in July 2022, the Golden Nugget casino remains engaged in finalizing a new agreement with its staff.
Located on Absecon Island, Atlantic City is adjacent to Absecon, Brigantine, Pleasantville, Ventnor City, Egg Harbor Township, and naturally, the Atlantic Ocean.
