The freshly minted Caesars Entertainment establishment, Danville Casino, has officially opened its doors!
The grand opening was a spectacle to see, attracting a throng of eager visitors and local dignitaries. On May 15th, the doors swung wide, ushering in the initial surge of fortunate patrons to this thrilling new Danville destination.
The roster of attendees read like a Danville who’s who, featuring Mayor Alonzo Jones, officials from Caesars Entertainment, Virginia Delegate Danny Marshall, and Chief Richard French of the Eastern Band Cherokee Indian Tribe.
“Collaborative efforts bring aspirations to life,” declared Chris Albrecht, the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Danville Casino and Caesars Virginia, during the inaugural event. “This grand opening stands as a testament to the dedication and cooperation of numerous individuals and collaborators.”
He continued, “We are immensely appreciative of the tremendous support we’ve received throughout this process and are delighted to finally introduce the iconic Caesars Entertainment hospitality to Danville.”
The expansive 40,000-square-foot casino is a haven for gaming enthusiasts, showcasing 740 slot machines, 25 live table games, and 28 electronic table games. As if that weren’t enough, there are 8 Caesars Sportsbook stations and 3 dining establishments to keep the excitement flowing.
And the cherry on top? Danville Casino operates 24/7, ensuring the entertainment never ceases! Guests can even grab a meal at the Stack restaurant, which also remains open at all hours.
The famed Caesars Rewards program is coming to the company’s latest gaming establishment in Danville. Patrons can accumulate and utilize points at this new venue. The property aims to debut in late 2024 and will boast a WSOP cardroom, accommodations for 500 guests, a comprehensive spa and aquatic center, and a cutting-edge performance hall. Separately, Caesars announced robust Q1 2023 financials, with income surging by 21%.
