ACR is sponsoring a unique card game competition to commemorate International Women’s Day and generate funds for a worthy endeavor.

The competition commences at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, the eighth of March. The objective is to gather donations for the United Breast Cancer Foundation, a commendable charity that assists individuals battling breast cancer by financing investigations and offering monetary aid to those undergoing therapy. They even provide support for the expenses associated with breast reconstruction procedures.

The competition has a $55 entry fee, but the entirety of the proceeds will be directed towards a noble purpose! There is a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000, and ACR will equal the total sum accumulated from the prize pool and contribute it to the United Breast Cancer Foundation. Additionally, every participant will receive a $55 tournament voucher to utilize in a subsequent event.

Throughout the competition, you can observe Americas Cardroom Team Professionals Katie Lindsay and Ebony Kenney on Twitch, alongside Nicky Lomo and Caitlin Comeskey. They will be discussing the significance of breast self-examinations and demonstrating how to perform them at home.

The previous year’s event was a resounding triumph, accumulating over $15,000 for philanthropy. This marks the second consecutive year that Americas Cardroom has organized this charitable tournament in observance of International Women’s Day. Let’s strive to make it even grander and more impactful this year!

ACR professional poker player, Ebony Kenney, shared her enthusiasm for this year’s International Women’s Day tournament, noting the achievements of the previous year’s event. She appreciates the chance to compete with numerous skilled female players while championing a significant initiative. Kenney takes pride in participating in this beneficial and influential force within women’s poker.
